Terms and Conditions
Studio Usage
Permitted Activities: The studio is to be used solely for legal and agreed-upon recording purposes. Clients must be present during all sessions and are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
Prohibited Activities: Smoking, consumption of alcohol, and use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited within the studio premises.
Booking and Payments
Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking fee is required to confirm a session.
Balance Payment: The remaining balance is due on the day of the session, prior to its commencement.
Overtime: Sessions that exceed the booked time will incur additional charges at the standard hourly rate, billed in 30-minute increments.
Client Responsibilities
Punctuality: Clients are expected to arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time, but the full booking fee will still apply.
Property Damage: Clients are liable for any damage caused to the studio equipment or premises during their session.
Liability
Personal Property: The studio is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought into the premises.
Technical Issues: In the event of equipment failure or other technical issues caused by the studio, efforts will be made to reschedule the session at no additional cost.
Content and Copyright
Ownership: Clients retain ownership of their recorded content once full payment is made.
Third-Party Materials: Clients must ensure they have the necessary rights and licenses for any third-party materials used in their recordings.
Cancellation Policy
Notice Requirements
Standard Bookings: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session to avoid penalties.
Extended Sessions (4 hours or more): A notice period equal to the length of the booking is required. For example, a 4-hour session requires a 4-day notice.
Fees and Refunds
Timely Cancellations: Deposits for cancellations made within the required notice period are non-refundable but can be applied to future bookings.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than the required notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice will result in a charge of the full session fee.
Rescheduling
Notice Period: Clients wishing to reschedule must provide notice at least 48 hours before the session.
Fees: Rescheduling requests made within the required notice period will not incur additional fees. Late rescheduling may be treated as a cancellation.
Studio Cancellations
Unforeseen Circumstances: The studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., equipment failure, emergencies). In such cases, clients will be offered alternative dates or a full refund of any payments made.
